Welcome to our website. is a website that enables you to take your family tree information (using your GEDCOM file which you have obtained from a third party), upload it into our site and with the tools that we provide, create beautiful family trees in the form of a high resolution PDF file. You can take this file to a printer who can print out something that you will want to cherish, or give as a gift.

If you continue to browse and use our website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern’s relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.

The term Twiggli or or Twiggli Ltd or “us” or “we” or “our” refers to the owner of the website, Twiggli Limited, whose registered office is Anchor Business Centre , Frankland Road, Blagrove, Swindon, SN5 8YZ, UK. Our company registration number is 11462189 registered with the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales. The term “you” or “yours” refers to the users or viewers of our website.

You are able to try our service without creating an account. You can build a tree and use an uploaded GEDCOM file but your session will not be saved. In order to save your session you will need to create an account. During the account creation process we ask for:

  • Your Name
  • Your Email
  • A Password

This information is required to create and manage your account, for example, to reset your password. Please see the Twiggli Privacy Policy for further details on data we hold and why.

Products and services

Twiggli’s services does not include the printing of a hard copy of your file. Once you have your print ready PDF you may print it yourself or send it to a printer of your choice who will be able to provide you with a hard copy print. This will be an additional cost to you and is your choice and responsibility; this is not part of the service provided by Twiggli. All Twiggli PDFs are supplied with a 3mm bleed and a 5mm margin containing printer’s crop marks.

Payment and Delivery

Family trees are delivered as a pdf file. Pricing may vary at our sole discretion. Please refer to the website for details.

When you pay for a print ready PDF, we will take payment and the PDF will be:

  1. Generated on screen for you to view and save immediately,
  2. Emailed to you on the delivery email address specified in your PayPal transaction,
  3. Listed by creation date on the Print page for your tree. This will enable you to recover your PDF at a later date if you need to.

Guarantees and warranties

We provide a digital product that you are able to view either as a watermarked sample PDF, or as a print ready colour PDF. Although we can make no guarantees as to the quality of the print ready PDF output, every effort has been made to balance the requirements for resolution, file processing and speed of delivery.

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It is your responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

We don’t provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. By using this website, you acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Twiggli is not responsible for the quality or suitability of images or GEDCOM uploaded by you.


Twiggli reserves all intellectual rights in the website, including but not limited to: its code, function, design, layout, look, appearance, images, and graphics. Reproduction of the website or its contents or outputs is prohibited other than that permitted as part of the creation of a PDF family tree.

You are not permitted to deconstruct or attempt to deconstruct any part of the website or any PDF file that Twiggli has supplied.

In using our website you will merge data and images to create family trees.


Data is derived from the GEDCOM file you have uploaded to Twiggli, and which you have obtained via a third party website or from third party software. Twiggli is not responsible for the creation or content of the GEDCOM file, and this data belongs to you. You may choose to edit this data as part of the tree creation process. This amended data belongs to you and can only be downloaded as part of the PDF.


All images provided by Twiggli for use on the website or in the creation of a family tree may be used by you under licence for no other purpose than creating a Twiggli family tree for your own personal and family use or for the personal and family use of your own bona fide genealogy client.

Images uploaded by you, including avatars, photographs of family members, or background images, belong to you and can only be downloaded as part of the PDF. Twiggli is not responsible for your use of images sourced from external sources. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the appropriate rights and permissions to use any images you upload.


Any trademarks reproduced in this website, which are not the property of Twiggli, or licensed to Twiggli, are acknowledged on the website.

Unauthorised use

Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

Termination of service

This agreement shall remain in full force and effect while you use the services.

You may end this agreement with us at any time by closing your account. If you close an account we will schedule your account for deletion in 30 days. If you log on again within 30 days the account will automatically be re-activated, if not your account and all associated data will be deleted after 30 days.

We can end this agreement at any time, for any reason without warning or liability. If you breach any of the terms and conditions then we will end the agreement. After termination, by whichever party, any provisions that would normally survive termination shall survive - these are provisions such as ownership, warranties, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Returns and Refunds Policy

Returns, refunds and losses

We provide no returns or refunds because

  1. You are able to create free products
  2. Any digital products delivered to you cannot be rescinded.

Refunds under exceptional Circumstances

In the event of technical difficulties we may, at our discretion, issue a refund following the purchase of our product. In which case you will need to provide full details of the problem including date, time and payment reference, within 14 days of the event, together with details of any output that you were able to download. We will investigate the event but any refund will be at our discretion.

Back up and storage

We will make every reasonable effort to securely store and back up your images, data, and amendments. In the event of data loss or corruption we are not liable. It is your responsibility to archive your own family history in non-digital format and keep back up copies of your GEDCOM files.

Governing law

Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
